The language of Jesus Christ was ancient Aramaic

| My name written in modern Aramaic would look like the above ... yet Jesus spoke a "lost" ancient Aramaic language and in a "street version / lower class dialect ... so who really knows what His exact words were and in what context he spoke them . We are given the "words" of Jesus via a translation from a Greek or Latin version of any scribe (or Gospel writer) ... not the original words of Jesus Christ a lot can and was lost in translation ... changing the entire concept of what Jesus really meant by his words ... His words have to also be placed in the context of the culture at the time of Jesus ... words have different meanings in different sections of the USA, in different sections of any given city/town/village ... This was true in the time of Jesus as well many different dialectics and "word usages" in different regions and in different villages ,and among the poor and the educated classes ...
Forgive me my
trespasses as we forgive …
(I believe to screw with the minds of the ancients and with the minds of the
modern scholars as well Jesus Christ spoke in a lower form dialect of Ancient Aramaic ) … never more true than with the Our Father …
I never say it the way “we are
taught to say it” during Mass … I say it in my head in Aramaic (as close to the original dialect of Jesus as
I can say it) I know that sounds weird
but somehow in my head I can do this during Mass …
When I say the rosary in a group I will verbally say the Our
Father in the common way, which is not the correct way as to how Jesus taught it…
I do so for it is the traditional of those with whom I praying and I honor
their intent … it is my love for these people praying that I say it the way
they are accustom to saying the prayer…
God is not “forgiving us the way we forgive others”… if so
none of us could be saved … God is forgiving us from the Cross … something we
cannot do … to be forgiven as you forgive smacks of Karma … not the saving
grace of the Cross …
