God hears your heart

So much rhetoric in media and political circles. We are told again and again “words matter”, yet they do not with God, he listens to your heart not your mouth.

 Your speech is a reflection of the heart and how you really feel about things, you cannot manifest a cruel or hurtful word if your heart is filled with compassion, mercy and love. Angry words are manifestations of an angry heart, such words are a reflection of who you are, not the person to whom you are directing the words too.

The old childhood diddle is true, when you lash out at someone verbally … “I am rubber you are glue, what you say bounces off of me and sticks on you” … your negative words are sticking on you and this is what God sees and listens too … we are called to wash ourselves clean in grace, we start with the heart …
