When evil sits at the table with us
I try not to be political .. now a days it only serves to add to the "ugly" in the world ... yet the phrase "evil sits at your table" comes to mind a concept I have spoken to a priest about in the past ...
I believe it to be true ... you will find evil "at your table" in many relationships and sadly in many family relationships ...
When politics becomes the radical position of someone (either side left or right)... it no longer is a "position" it is hate for the one who opposes your viewpoint or sees things a bit different than you do... gone is debate ... gone is rational thinking and gone is family to many ... their hate of your viewpoint is so strong they are willing to "kill" family relationships and friendships ...
And this is called "reform or progressive" this is called justice for all? What about the justice of the family unit or personal friendships ... the concrete in your life smashed in the name of a "concept / pie in the sky" ... there is no logic ... no reason to such actions ... just pure emotions and pure hate ... and that is called anarchy ... destruction for the sake of destruction ... that is called "The Lord of the Flies"... or the old movie 'Clockwork Orange" ...
If your family and interpersonal relationships are in chaos and if you are banning a relative from your household because of their political views ... prior to speaking out to the masses clean up your own shit and be charitable to your family and reach out to them... respect your parents and grandparents, make sure they are ok and stop blowing off such relationships and teaching your children to do the same ... least you forest how they are raised is how they will treat you in the future ...
that is how you make a difference in the world ... like a rock thrown into a lake ... the ripple to the entire lake first starts with the center ring and spreads out from there ... you do not care about your elders or extended family don't BS me that you care about the world ...
