Rep Katie Hill resigned from Congress last Sunday

Wow … I never thought she would resign from Congress … usually the sleazy members of congress, just hire a PR firm to get them through bad publicity (like the Catholic Church does)  … of course there were spin masters saying this was nothing more than "revenge porn"... OK call me old fashion, but to me "porn is porn" and never a good thing for an elected official to be into ... 

So I would assume Ms. Hill has a lot more baggage, which she does not want made known and hence she resigned… but here is a fun fact she will probably get to keep many of her perks as being an elected congress woman (they all do once they leave or resign) … she will have a lifetime of better health insurance and always have the title former congresswoman and in a few years she can rehab herself and come back into politics … and say how she was “wronged” in life … common folks would not be able to do that nor have those benefits …

So my pondering in my last post last week about Ms. Hill ..."is she Catholic"... I guess the answer would be "No" a Catholic into today's politics would hire a lawyer, a PR firm and apologist to speak up for them and say how they were falsely accused and wronged ... and stay on the job ...just like many of our priests, Bishops and Cardinals do! update she night be Catholic, they are already starting to rehabilitate  her ... 

I saw that happen in my local diocese with a former Bishop, his name was  "Rodimer"(at one time the 6th worst Bishop for cover-ups of abuses)  after he retired and for many years prior to his death, the local Church "rehabilitated him" ... by the time he died his funeral was almost "Royal" ...  a command performance  ...  

So this is why, I had to update the post about Ms. Hill… yes some are already calling Ms. Hill  a “martyr”… since she resigned … wow … abuse an intern, with your power and you are a martyr in today’s culture … (what is everyone a Bishop or a Cardinal now getting away with abusing an under link like a seminarian. Of course the abuser will say, it was consensual … “They were of age and consent”, nope, abuse and rape is crime no matter the age)...

Why Ms. Hill reminds me of Alice in Wonderland  … for everything wrong is now right… we live in a “upside down culture” … society has fallen into a rabbit hole …
