Son of the Republic
Today is George Washington’s real birthday (1732) … President Washington was a man of deep prayer and also had “visions” and locutions … you can read about them here …
https://www.ushistory.org/valleyforge/washington/vision.html
Today is also “the
Chair of St. Peter”… I always wonder what the church would look like if “Saul of Tarsus” had not high jacked it from
St. Peter …
Many years ago I would debate with priests and theologians
as to why there is so much credence placed on “Saul”, since he never met Jesus
Christ (Saul only had visions and locutions) which, by definition is “private revelation”
and not to be taken as “truth” and not worthy to be included into cannon … yet
the early Church did this … which for me is proof of “human power” not divine …
Evil could not and cannot stop the power of the Cross, so
did it try to mimic and take away “the Church” Jesus Christ wanted to start
upon St. Peter, in the person of Saul of Tarsus … aka St. Paul … planting seeds
of corruption at its beginning, which unfortunately are only now coming into light
and human understanding as to the depth of evil within the hierarchy of the church
… evil and corruption which has been within the church for centuries, only hidden and if you questioned the Church in the past you were either excommunicated or even killed (the Inquisition) …
St. Peter was directly told by Jesus Christ that upon him, Christ
would start his church … talk about hubris Saul would argue with St. Peter as
to how the church would / should look and form … Saul was never commissioned, by Christ
to do so … If Saul of Tarsus was “evaluated” in today’s church, per their own rules,
he would not pass the mustard as being authentic
… His first “encounter with Christ” sounds like he had a grand mal seizure …
flash of light and falling off his horse … hit his head and had temporary blindness, hearing voices from a head injury and having visions … all medically explainable …
So was “Saul of Tarsus” a great deceiver… maybe????
