Aunt Jenni
I mentioned
my Aunt Jenni in a prior posting on this Blog (as to how she was conceived) in
addition to being my Aunt, she was also my God mother.
Aunt Jenni
was my mom’s only sister and they were close. Yet many in family thought Aunt
Jenni to be a bit “off” I never did I thought she was cool (funny how life goes
those who thought my Aunt to be “off”, I
later learned in life they were the ones who were really “off”) … like a
transference of what they were onto to Aunt Jenni … much like the hierarchy and
the Church has always done to the laity … called us “sinners and wayward” when
actually is was and is they who are the “true sinners”

I spoke of
“Bloodlines” … Aunt Jennie was one of those “in my family” that had exceptional
spirituality … not like mine (I am all about the True Presence of Jesus Christ
in the Eucharist) … Aunt Jenni’s
spirituality was more in tune with what many people have now … she did not go
to church (after all they treated her like shit for most of her life as the
Church treated so many and still does) …Be that as it may … Aunt Jenni was
remarkable in her “spot on prophecies” for the future … for we are living them
now … I will share below some of Aunt Jenni’s prophecies
The things that stand out most
for me, as a young child, with Aunt Jenni, is visiting her in Wallington. I
remember “Easter” mornings after services, she had hard boiled eggs, kielbasa
(Polish sausage) on the table and poppy seed stolen and Babka (Polish sweet
bread) , these are typical Easter food items a Polish person would have on
their table for Easter morning and normally this food would have been blessed
by a priest the day before …
And at this time Aunt Jenni was into “homemade” cures, in today’s world
she would have been called “organic” or even homeopathic in her approach to all
things this was not a common practice in the 1950’s, so everyone labeled her
odd when frankly she was just way ahead of her time. I remember having a cough
at Aunt Jenni’s house and she brought out her homemade “cough medicine”…
seriously gross and I never went over to her house again when I was sick I did
not want to taste her “cures” again …
She was not totally out of the ball park,
with all of this I remember being given pure “coke syrup” for an upset stomach
from the soda shop next door… And other homemade remedies from my mother and
father. But Aunt Jenni was in a class of her own … long before people started
to care about what was in their food Aunt Jenni did. She would not buy meat
from the grocery store, but go to a farmer who raised their own cattle same was
true with milk and butter products, now this was in the 1950’s, decades before
anyone took notice on what we ate or how our food was packaged and handled...
Aunt Jenni also had a large garden in her yard and she was into getting
cow manure for it, she would travel to PA and pick up bags of fresh manure to
fertilize everything, she would never use chemical
fertilizers, saying it poisons the food we eat and the soil we grow it on ….
Such talk in the 1950’s gave her a label of being “crazy” … yet science has
proven much of what she said as being true … She had an awareness of the
land and our food chain, which looking back now is eerie… for she was so right
yet everyone blew her off and made fun of her … In the late 1990’s and through the 2000’s to date society had an interest in the “supernatural” and the “unexplained” to talk of such things in the 1950’s and 1960’s, was to invite a label of mental illness, or to be called delusional.
Aunt Jenni told me at the age of 6, she was
sleeping and awoke to a “dead relative”, sitting on the edge of her bed and she
said, after that “she just knew things” and could communicate with the “other
side” … back in the 1950’s everyone laughed at her and called her crazy … today
she would have her own reality TV show and booming
so much is
unknown, about the brain and its full potential, I wonder if these people are
just tapping into an area of the brain we cannot commonly do … I tend to
believe this is inherit in all of us, but dormant and for whatever reason there
has been an explosion of people being able to tap into this over the last 30
years … or something or someone (i.e. God) is turning this part of a human
brain on …
Some believe it is an “evolutionary process”
humanity is going through and they label these “new people / children” …
“indigo or crystal children” … The church has always labeled these types of
people “mystics”, psychologists have labeled them “in need of treatment”…
I pass no judgment, yet I know first-hand these things can happen
…
Here are some of the things Aunt Jenni would say … “she knew or was told by a high power”. All of these things she said in the 1960’s
Here are some of the things Aunt Jenni would say … “she knew or was told by a high power”. All of these things she said in the 1960’s
- The
price of gold one day would skyrocket (she advised everyone to buy gold in
the early 1960’s)
- She
said … the oceans will flood, the coast lines and to be safe you need to
be at least 25 miles inland from any coastline … again she said this in
the 1950’s, no global warming talk back then …
- She
said do not eat store meat it is filled, with artificial hormones, she was
right …
This was
really creepy, she said the Russians are training psychic spies and the US is
as well (again this was in the 1960’s) every one said, she totally lost it with
that one … but of course we now know this true from declassified government materials
I have one that is very personal to me … when I was 18 years old, I was in a horrific car crash, taken to the ER unconscious, with no blood pressure. My mother called her sister Jenni, crying to her, fearing that I might not survive my injuries, from the crash … Jenni said this to my mother; “do not worry the Virgin Mary was just here and she said, she will take care of Mary Jo, for one day she will come to her”… I was 18 years old at the time and I can say, 20 years later I did have an “encounter with the Virgin Mary”… so did my Aunt Jenni really see the Virgin Mary???? I don’t know, I know I lived and I know, I believe I had an encounter, with the Virgin Mary years later after Jenni told my mother, I would …
I end with, looking back on the life of my
Aunt Jenni, I admire her she did not have it easy … label a bastard child at
birth and at age 6 having a “spiritual” experience that further isolated her in
life … But she always spoke her peace in life although people took sport in
labeling her and making fun of her (even in her own family) she never adopted their disapproval nor did
she ever speak ill of anyone … I do not remember one time Aunt Jenni became
angry at anyone or made fun of anyone , she was spooky at times but always
joyful … And if I had to “label” God he would be more of the personality Aunt
Jenni was and not like the ones who made fun of her throughout her life…
People tend to make fun of "different" ... yet it such difference that advances society forward in thought and in purpose ...
