Black Friday versus Good Friday

I worked retail on “black Friday” masses of people rushing from store to store to maybe get something for a few dollars off … not likely, but it is their mind frame, given to the consumer from the massive publicity surrounding the “deals” on black Friday …  a form of mind control via advertising …

Wouldn’t it be nice if the masses of people who get up early on black Friday to “get a deal” at a local merchant or chain store … did the same thing on Good Friday … got up early to go to church and thanked the God/man who saved them “For Free” … now that is a deal… not a retail ad campaign to empty your wallet…  

black Friday sales last all weekend, for that special holiday gift for this season ... Good Friday gift lasts for all eternity
