Trashing the Christmas tree on the second day of Christmas
I can always tell who is really a “Christian” and who only celebrates
Christmas because it is “Santa’s day” or the thing to do.
I know this for the
day after Christmas I start to see Christmas trees curbside, yep the day after Christmas
many take down their Christmas trees and trash them … Christmas means “Christ’s
Mass” and it celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, which occurs on Dec 25th
… and the season lasts until the Baptism of the Lord … so for those who are
trashing their Christmas trees the day or week after Christmas … Christmas has
just begun! We are in the Christmas season now, it does not start the day after
Thanksgiving (Black Friday) and end the day after Christmas day (Dec 25th)
… that is for those who push commercialism and fable … not truth that the only
begotten Son of God came to earth to save us all.
And the song the 12 days of Christmas, celebrates in music
the day of Christmas (Dec 25th) right up until the Feast of the 3
Kings, which for most is January 6th … when many countries give
gifts to each other… the feast of the 3 Kings is the public revelation of the birth
of Christ … prior to that the birth was only revealed to the Shepherds ….
